Reaching out to teens who live in abuse
The mission of OneTear Ministry is to reach children and youth who are victims of physical, emotional, or sexual abuse, neglect, or domestic violence. We exist to let these kids know they are not alone—that someone sees them, cares about them, understands their pain, and that help is available.
We affirm God’s deep love for them and His constant presence in their lives, even in the darkest moments.
We also seek to educate and bring awareness to the peers who attend our talks—so that all kids, whether directly affected or not, gain understanding, empathy, and the tools to support each other.
Don't forget the Adults! They need education too!
* What are ACEs? (Adverse Childhood Experiences) Is this why I struggle? I thought the abuse was behind me OR what happened to that person, why are they like that? * Understanding how abuse affects the development of kids, physically, mentally, and spiritually.

OneTear Ministry envisions a community free from physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, neglect, and domestic violence.
Our mission is to end abuse and its lasting impact by offering Outreach and Resources, supporting Healing, increasing Awareness and Prevention, and driving Social Change.
Outreach & Resources
Practical resources for individuals and families affected by abuse and domestic violence. Through outreach, we let victims know they are not alone and connect them with the help they need.
Healing
Helping survivors move beyond being defined by the trauma they’ve experienced, so they can reclaim their identity, strength, and hope.
Awareness & Prevention
We educate youth and communities about abuse and promote safe, healthy relationships. By raising awareness, we equip people with the tools to recognize warning signs, speak up, and prevent future harm.
Social Change
We work to transform the attitudes, behaviors, and policies that allow abuse and domestic violence to persist. Through collaboration and advocacy, we challenge the silence and stigma surrounding abuse and promote a culture of compassion, accountability, and healing.
A person is made up of body, mind, and spirit—and when abuse occurs, it wounds all three.
The body may carry the physical scars, the mind endures emotional and psychological pain, and the spirit—often the most hidden part—is deeply broken.
True healing can only come when we address the whole person. It's not enough to treat just the physical or emotional damage; the spirit must also be restored.
Many victims of abuse understandably turn away from God. They may blame Him, wondering where He was in their time of need. But it’s through experiencing God's love, grace, and presence that true healing can begin.
Only then can a person move from being a victim to becoming a survivor—whole, seen, and deeply loved.
